Benin The Nimble

Of Prosperous merchant stock, Benin's family are six generations removed from the Magi meaning that Benin's magical powers come as something of a saving grace. One more generation and those ties to the nobility would have started to look preposterous.

An intelligent but physically slight Magi, Benin spent most of his childhood being tormented by Hamar who bullied him into doing his homework for him.  This experience has made Benin into something of a coward, prone to fleeing at the first sight of danger. This is perhaps just as well as since taking up with the other Lords of Dis'Panad, Benin has come into his own as an administrator and civil planner. While the other Magi go out patrolling or adventuring, Benin oversees operations at home and is ever ready to dispatch reinforcements or to deal with Dis'Panad's administrative and diplomatic subtleties.
