Hamar Ant Slayer

The uncouth son of a peasant, Hamar made his way through his magical training due to his relentless bullying of Benin who did most of his assingments for him.

Since joining up with the other Lords of Dis'Panad, Hamar has come to be known by the name "Ant Slayer" due to his heroic willingness to wade into battle when confronted with giant magical ants in the group's first adventure.  The nickname was coined by Benin and spread by the priest Raschid as a means of subtly mocking Hamar. Hamar is aware of the insult but has come to realise that his limited abilites has lessened his ablity to threaten the other magi into silence.

A valliant fighter, Hamar's robust physique allows him to wade into battle far more easily than many of the other mages.  On the plus side this bravery tends to compensate for Hamar's failings as a tactician.

He fell to poison while fighting a Medusa, its poison bite being too much for even his remarkable constitution. A brave, perhaps foolhardy man, who died with a sword in his hand.
