Raschid The Prudent

A Spirit-talker from a military family who has formed a relationship with a minor wind sprite known as Ilmanar,

Raschid has proved himself to be an invaluable minister and companion to the Constellation of Ilmanar.  Since attaching himself to his lords, Raschid has come to be considered part of the inner group and first among his lords' servants, taking the place of Benin on the group's expeditions and patrols. Aside from his skill as a healer, Raschid has proven himself as a warrior and as a diplomat, serving as the group's herald and recently being granted the title of Vizir to the Constellation of Ilmanar.

Fiercely ambitious, Raschid considers himself the equal of the Lords of Dis'Panad (though he would never admit it) and has sought to gather more and more powers and responsibilities at the heart of the fledgeling nation's government. This ambition does not meet with the approval of Hamar, with whom Raschid clashes on occasion, but is positively encouraged by Nazeem who trusts the ambitious priest to be an ambitious priest.

Despite being an able and open-minded diplomat, Raschid is also fanatically devoted to his god. Indeed, this lead to his turning down a cultural exchange on the grounds that it made him uncomfortable to think of other gods being worshipped by "his" flock.

Has recently, due to his tendency to be the first to retreat from battle, come to be known as Raschid Heel-Turner.
